On this tour, you will enjoy best sea kayaking in Europe, beautiful sunsets and good company as you make you way through the Elafiti Island chain.

This is a serene exploration of the Adriatic - the sea, the landscapes, the nature, the people and their way of life. The tour is designed for those who love outdoors and need not have previous kayaking experience. Daily routes are rather short - 2 to 3 hours of easy paddling - and not demanding. Fit for all ages between 14 and late sixties. We suggest an extension on the Island of Mljet for those who crave quiet natural settings and eco-tourism or an extension in Dubrovnik for those who are interested in art, history ancient architecture and entertainment.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to Hotel Odisej in Mljet National Park, the only hotel on the island, situated by the sea in the village of Pomena
Day 2: Practice your kayaking skills on the quiet lakes of Mljet National Park in single and double kayaks. Mljet (Mill-yet) is a wonderfully charming island; most of the Northwest of the island has been designated as a national park. The island has two inland lakes filled with water from both the Adriatic and freshwater springs. The lake water is warm most of the year and perfectly calm for beginners. After seakayaking "school," venture into one of several quaint villages for a delicious lunch of grilled seafood and locally produced wines.

Day 3: Explore the lakes of the park - On the larger lake is a small isle called St. Mary's on which there is a 12th century Benedictine monastery. It is from this beautiful vantage point that you will begin your kayaking exploration of Mljet - one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic. While kayaking you will find cliffs, caves, and remote beaches on which you could enjoy fresh fish and citrus from the local markets. Every kayak is equipped with diving mask and fins to allow for underwater discovery as well.
Day 4: Depart in the early morning by regular ship line to Sudjuradj on the Island of Sipan. Continue on to Lopud, one of the central Elafiti Islands, was known in Ancient Greece as Delaphodia. Lopud has a rich maritime history. Its galleons participated in Spanish raids on Tunis, Algiers, Portugal and even in the Armada against England. This small island can be explored in half a day's walk. On the walk you can visit the 15th century monastery, the museum filled with historical works of art, or you can swim and relax by the sea. In Lopud you will find friendly fishermen, an abundance of flowers, palms, and lemon and orange trees. However, you will not find any cars.

Day 5: A short boat trip will take you to the next of the Elafiti Islands - Kolocep. Here you will enjoy paddling and swimming along the shores of Kolocep whose castles have witnessed the long and rich history of Dubrovnik. They are perfect for explorers who enjoy hidden caves, coves and remote beaches. Enjoy swimming, diving, and sunbathing.
Day 6: Paddle around Kolocep to the picturesque Grebeni rocks. Continue on to Lapad, a quiet part of Dubrovnik for an evening of lively Mediterranean atmosphere.
Day 7: Enjoy a free day in Dubrovnik - the loveliest of all Mediterranean towns - for sightseeing, walking in the Old City, shopping for souvenirs, or strolling along the city walls and Stradun.
Day 8: Departure from Dubrovnik Airport

All other dates upon request.
