Day 2 Sun: :  Favorite destination for the citizens of Zagreb takes us to Medvednica, a medieval fortress with a stunning view over the city. As the Zagreb hikers used to do, we’ll take a tram leading to the bottom of the mountain and make our way up to the top on foot. Spend the evening on you own exploring the city.

Day 3 Mon: :  Leaving Zagreb heading to Samobor Highlands that certainly deserves the “title” of the nature park. Rounding up the day we end up in Mrežnica area embracing the pure Croatian countryside.

Day 4 Tue: Our trail for today leaves beautiful Ogulin for the rocky peak (4.95miles). A sign “Welcome to the realm of the Klek witches” will mark our entrance into our own legend. After the descent, we’ll visit magical Kamačnik canyon.

Day 5 Wed: The educational trail "Leska" will start leading us towards our goal – “Big Risnjak”, the highest point of the mountain range. After resting and enjoying the amazing view over the sea, other peaks of Gorski Kotar and even the Alps, we will descend slowly back to Crni Lug and complete the educational trail.

Day 6 Thu: If there was ever a morning for you to get up early, this is that morning. We start our journey with a drive to Lovran, a charming little coast town on the bottom of Učka, the highest mountain of the Istrian Peninsula. After conquering our last peak of the week we will visit Opatija.

Day 7 Fri: A day spent at leisure in Delnice, or as an alternative, taking an optional trip of hiking, walking or swimming in the surrounding area. (See below)

Day 8 Sat: Depart from Delnice for the airport and flight home.
