ITINERARY
	Day 1: (Saturday) Leaving Zagreb or Zadar airport behind, we make our way to Korana Village in Plitvice Lakes National Park. After settling into your accommodations, join other group members for an informal welcome drink and evening snack by the river.
	Day 2: Today we cycle through forests, between hills and across green fields in the Croatian countryside. Our road will lead us to the Barać caves for a guided underground tour. After visiting the caves, we’ll have a picnic lunch and time to relax in a local park. In the afternoon we bike back to Korana Village in time to enjoy a traditional Croatian evening meal.  (Please note that cycling the entire route may be too difficult for small children).
	Day 3: Embark on a kayaking expedition down the Mreznica River. The journey meanders through a spectacular landscape of forests, open meadows and travertine waterfalls. The calm, clear pools provide plenty of opportunities to cool off with a swim. Later in the day, we will explore the numerous streams and mills of Rastoke on foot.
	Day 4: Expedition into the canyon and waterfalls of the upper Mreznica, This is the most beautiful part of the river, where the water temperature in summer can reach 25 degrees Celsius. We travel down a deep, narrow canyon and bypass cascading waterfalls - up to 10 meters high.
	Day 5: We head south for canoeing down the magnificent wild-west-like canyons of the Zrmanja and Krupa Rivers. Enjoy easy rapids, swimming in crystal clear waters and a shower under waterfalls.
	DDay 6: A day spent in the Plitvice Lakes National Park, hiking around 16 emerald green and opal blue lakes, passing along numerous waterfalls and caves. Later in the afternoon you can enjoy taking a swim in warm water just in front of your house.
	Day 7: A day to be spent at leisure in the village, or as an alternative, taking an optional trip of hiking, walking or swimming in the surrounding area. (See below)
	Day 8: Depart from Korana village for the airport and flight home.

Please note that the optional trip will incur an additional charge of approx 50€ per head, payable on
site, and is dependent on suitable weather conditions. The price is base on a min. of 4 participants.

This itinerary is subject to change due to group abilities and preferences, weather, water levels, special events of interest, etc. Huck Finn Guides and Trip Leaders will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. • Rooms: Please note that the houses in Korana Village have two and three bed rooms, with two rooms sharing bathroom
• No 1-bed rooms are available. Single use rooms are available upon request, only as double rooms/single use, with 20% surcharge. Sharing a room with another person of the same gender is possible.
• Optional trips on Day 7 are NOT included in price and can be booked and paid on spot.
