The fascinating part of this river starts in its canyon after a 20-meter waterfall. Waterfalls and most of the rapids are created by travertine rocks and these rocks also create a thrilling labyrinth of green river islands in a section below Bihac. There are few towns in the world like Bihac that are blessed with a river like Una. No wonder kayaks have a long tradition here.

If you are visiting Croatia to enjoy its wild rivers, make sure you plan a day for rafting or canoeing on Una. The best spots are not easy to find but we shall be happy guide you.
